Five days in the Dhauladhar with girls you haven't met yet. Ride your own scooty through tea gardens, face your fears in a guided Burn Your Fear session, let singing bowls quiet your head, and sleep in a tent on the Triund ridge at 2,850 m. Delhi to Delhi, with a woman trip captain all the way. Bring warm socks. We'll take care of the rest.
Day-wise itinerary
Why this trip
Maybe you've been waiting for your friends to be free. Maybe someone once told you the mountains aren't a place for a girl travelling alone. Or maybe you just need a few days where nobody needs anything from you. This trip is for that girl.
On the first night you'll be strangers on a bus out of Delhi, sharing a playlist. By the second evening someone will make you laugh until your stomach hurts. On the last morning you'll be planning a reunion, and meaning it.
Two sessions to go inward. One climb to go up.
- Burn Your Fear (Bir): a guided blindfold session, led by a trained facilitator, where you feel every emotion as it comes.
- Sound healing (McLeodganj): singing bowls, blankets and complete stillness. The deepest rest of the trip.
- Triund trek & camp: 9 km up to the ridge, a night in tents facing the snow, and sunrise from your sleeping bag.
Your own wheels
Scooties are included for exploring Bir and McLeodganj at your own pace: tea gardens, monasteries, sunset points. Can't ride? Hop on the back with a friend you met yesterday.
Your pocket diary
On the bus out of Delhi you'll get a small diary with your name on it. Nobody else reads it. Each evening there's a question waiting for you. On the last day you'll go back to the first page, and you might hardly recognise the girl who wrote it.
About paragliding
It isn't included and can be added separately. But Bir is one of the best places in the world to fly, and you're already here. We'd strongly suggest you add it.
A few honest things
- This is a girls-only group, led by a woman trip captain who stays with you from Delhi to Delhi.
- To ride a scooty you'll need a valid two-wheeler driving licence. Helmets are given and must be worn. If you'd rather not ride, you can sit pillion.
- Late November is early winter. Days are pleasant, but evenings are cold, and Triund can drop close to freezing at night.
- Paragliding depends on wind and weather. If you add it, we'll help you book a slot with a certified operator.
- The Burn Your Fear session is run by a trained facilitator. Every activity is your choice: you can sit out anything, with no questions asked.
- The Triund trek is about 9 km one way and suits first-timers with basic fitness. A few walks or stair climbs in the weeks before will help.
- Campsites at Triund run on a daily forest-department quota, and we book ours in advance.
- Timings are a guide and may shift with traffic and weather.
How to join
This isn't a book-now trip. We keep the group small, and we want every girl on that bus to feel safe and comfortable with the people around her, so we read every application before anyone is confirmed. Apply, we review (we may call you for a quick chat), and if you're selected you pay a ₹4,000 advance to confirm your seat. The balance is paid as per the schedule we share with you.
Coming alone? Most girls do.
