Some of the best places in India don't have signboards. They have a chai stall at the end of a village road, a fort that no guidebook mentions, a waterfall you only find because someone local pointed the way. We have spent more than seven years looking for places like these — and GoRaahi Adventures is what happened when we decided to stop keeping them to ourselves.
We are Utkarsh and Riddhi, the co-founders of GoRaahi Adventures. Long before this was a company, it was simply how we travelled: slowly, curiously, and usually a little off the usual route.
Over seven years on the road, the trips that stayed with us were never the ones with the most sightseeing. They were the ones where we met people, sat with them, heard their stories, ate what they ate, and came home understanding a place — and ourselves — a little differently. We went looking for destinations and kept finding something deeper: culture, history, roots, and the people who carry them.
And we kept noticing the same thing. Most travellers stick to the same few routes, see the same few sights, and come back with the same photos. But India is so much bigger than its postcards. Every region holds forts, valleys, villages, food and traditions that most people never hear about — not because they aren't worth it, but because nobody showed them the way.
So in 2024 we started GoRaahi Adventures to show the way. In 2026 it became a registered company. The idea behind it hasn't changed.
Experiences over itineraries. A trip should be more than a checklist of places. We design journeys around moments — a sunrise from a Sahyadri fort, a quiet darshan before the crowds arrive, a conversation you didn't expect to have.
The unexplored, handled right. India has countless places most people have never heard of. We take you there — and we plan every trip end to end, with transparent pricing and no hidden charges, so offbeat never has to mean stressful.
People make the place. Understanding a place means understanding the people who live there — their culture, their stories, their roots. We build that into how we travel, so you come back seeing the world a little differently.

Since 2024, we have hosted more than 300 guests across more than 30 locations — from Sahyadri forts at sunrise and monsoon waterfalls near Mumbai and Pune, to Ashtavinayak and Jyotirlinga yatras, Himalayan roads in Ladakh, and the lanes of Udaipur and Varanasi. Every one of those journeys started the same way: with someone who wanted more from travel than a photo at a famous spot.
